Frequently Asked Questions.

When should we Rsvp by?

Please let us know by late October if you are going to make it! Also if your are staying from out of town, let us know where you will be lodging!

Where is the Reception in relation to the Ceremony?

The Ceremony is at St. Frances De Chantal at 190 Hollywood Avenue Bronx NY. The reception is down the street at 1 Marina Drive. The church and wedding reception are walking distance from one another. See maps on our homepage.

What is the Dress Code?

We want you to be comfortable but to look great. We are requiring Cocktail Attire.

Can I Bring my kids?

As much as we love kids, we're keeping our wedding celebration for adults only!

Can I Bring a plus one?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation. Formal invitations will be sent out via traditional mail by August.

Is there parking at the Church and the Reception?

Plenty of parking! Both the church and reception have huge parking lots. Our catering hall will also have valet parking available.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

We are always a fan of Uber! Especially since our wedding will have an open bar. Our recommendation for anyone that can Uber, should. If you’re coming from Manhattan there is an express bus called the BXM9 that stops right in front of our church and down the street from our venue. The nearest subway station is about a 10 min drive from the venue.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

We are having a full Catholic mass at St. Frances De Chantal starting promptly at 2:30 pm which should last about an hour. Our cocktail hour begins at 6pm at the Marina Del Rey, so there may be a gap between 3:30 and 6. Our venue has very graciously allowed our guests to arrive at 5pm for refreshments and to relax a bit before cocktail hour begins.
